Meet Deborah Drakeford, featured in Bea!

Deb has been with ARC since 2004 and is on the Artistic Board, the group that helps choose ARC’s productions.

Deb spent all last summer on Prince Edward Island performing in Our Town and Sense and Sensibility.  During the past holiday season, she reprised her role of Mrs. Cratchit in Soulpepper’s A Christmas Carol. She recently appeared on CBC’s new show, Cracked. Having just returned from Sudbury where she appeared in Same Time Next Year, Deb is really excited to be working on Bea with Sasha Lukac and other ARC members and acting partners Bahareh Yaraghi and Brendan McMurtry Howlett.

After Bea, Deb moves on to Soulpepper’s production of Great Expectations for the summer.

Deb also keeps herself busy with teaching and is currently working with Market Lane School and Turning Point. Oh, and she is raising a couple of amazing teenagers, with her husband Oliver Dennis.

And who are we kidding? Deb can’t wait to get back out in her garden…
