We are a small company with big impact. That’s testament to the incredibly depth of talent in our intrepid band of theatre artists. Prior to this year, the ARC family have earned fourteen Dora nominations and two awards to date.
We’re thrilled to announce that this year, we’ve done it again. Coming on the heels of our busiest season to date, we’ve received five (five!!!) Dora nominations for our production of Pomona.
This time tomorrow 38th Annual Dora Awards will be underway! Tickets for the after party can be purchased on-site at 10:30 pm. #Doras2017 pic.twitter.com/WtroPrE5dh

We’re also incredibly proud of our Andre Sills, who received a nomination (and then won!) for his performance in Master Harold and the Boys at the Shaw Festival. To top it all off, Andre also won for Best Actor in the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Awards earlier this year.

And we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out that our other project, KISS, also garnered a best-direction Dora nomination, this time in the General Theatre division (See? We told you we had range).

But you know what? Nominations are great. What’s even better, though, is when our beloved Artistic Producer, Chris Stanton, takes home the award for Outstanding Direction. We couldn’t be more proud if we tried. And we’ve tried really, really hard.
